Courtney and Mark’s summer wedding at Providence Vineyard was one of those days that just felt good from start to finish—bright, colorful, and full of energy. Providence Vineyard is easily one of the most recognizable barn wedding venues in Chicago, and their day showed exactly why. Between the white barn, surrounding greenery, and space to fully celebrate, it’s a setting that works beautifully for couples planning a summer wedding at Providence Vineyard. As a Chicago wedding videographer, it’s always a venue I’m excited to be back at.

They’re the kind of couple people describe as having “golden retriever energy”—warm, easy to be around, and fully present with the people they love. That showed up everywhere, especially during their indoor ceremony in the barn, where they shared personal vows that had everyone laughing one minute and tearing up the next. It didn’t feel overly scripted or formal—just honest and very them. Outside of their wedding day, they spend a lot of time staying active together and hanging out with their dog, Trouble, which tracks perfectly with how naturally they connect with each other and their people.

The celebration carried that same energy all the way through the night. After a room flip in the barn, the space transformed for dinner and dancing, and once the band started, the dance floor stayed full. From the champagne pop with their wedding party to a packed dance floor led by an incredible live band, the night felt high-energy without ever losing that relaxed, joyful feel. Courtney and Mark’s Providence Vineyard wedding is a perfect example of how fun and elevated a Chicago barn wedding can be when you lean into great music, colorful florals, and a guest experience that keeps people engaged all night.
