This romantic wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! Sabrina and Clayton were an adorable couple to work with! We had a blast getting to know each other throughout this whole year and at their engagement session, which you can find here.
The day started at Crown of Life Lutheran Church where Sabrina and Clayton both got ready at. The nice thing about hiring two photographers for your wedding day is that you get double the amount of portraits! One photographer can be with the guys, while the other stays with the ladies! My assistant Jessica did a phenomenal capturing the gentlemen during these moments!
Sabrina looked like a literal QUEEN on her wedding day!!! I could not get over the crown on her head, her beautiful makeup, and the off the shoulder sleeves on her dress. Once she got into her dress, her expression started to change and she got a little emotional. It was a beautiful moment to witness as she shed a few tears with her mom and bridesmaids.
The couple wanted a traditional first look, and Clayton had his emotional moment watching Sabrina walk down the aisle. Another reason why we LOVE two photographers on a wedding day is the epic angles you receive during the walk down the aisle. One angle from the front capturing the groom’s reaction, and one from the back capturing the bride walking in. This church was gorgeous. We loved the natural wood and the amount of light that came in through the stained glass windows.
If you couldn’t tell already, this wedding had many romantic reds through the venues, attire, florals, and decor. Sabrina wore a beautiful, red cape during some of the bridal portraits, which was not only beautiful to look at but also kept her warm on a chilly winter day! We loved it and got all the Belle vibes from it! The Florian Event Venue was a gorgeous backdrop to all of our portraits. We spent all of our portrait time over there for romantic moments with our new husband and wife!
We absolutely loved the first dances Sabrina and Clayton shared with their family moments, it was soooo sweet!! Another adorable moment during the evening was the married dance, where all the couples who are married get out on the dance floor for a slow dance. Sabrina’s grandparents were the longest-married couple and they are so cute dancing together! What a wonderful way to end the wedding night by celebrating a couple that has married for over 50 years!
Clayton and Sabrina, I wish you all the best in your new adventure together and all the joys that marriage brings!! Enjoy all of the emotional and beautiful moments of your wedding day.
