A romantic proposal on the rooftop of Glass + Griddle

Now that family and friends have been notified and the wedding planning has begun, it’s safe to share these romantic images of Victor’s proposal to Madeline on the rooftop of Glass + Griddle!!

What was meant to be a proposal getaway to New York (thanks coronavirus), Victor had to improvise and come up with a plan-b locally in Milwaukee. Considering he had to think quick on his feet, I’m pretty sure Victor nailed it!!!

Decor flawlessly executed by Ambrosia Events, Victor arrived with Madeline to the empty rooftop of Glass + Griddle on a perfect spring evening under a canopy surrounded by a hundred candles. SO ROMANTIC!! Victor moved her underneath the canopy then I emerged from my hiding spot to capture the moment when he PROPOSED!!! Ugh, I could photograph proposals ALL DAY! So much love!!!

After the most romantic proposal Milwaukee’s ever experienced (in my humble opinion!), we moved into taking a few “just engaged” portraits! I mean, how could you not!? The views of Milwaukee’s skyline from Glass + Griddle’s rooftop is spectacular!

Following the portrait session, Victor and Madeline sat down to a privately catered al fresco dining experience provided by Pineapple Cafe. The candles and twinkling lights above them illuminated the rooftop in a romantic glow as they concluded a perfect evening under the stars.
