Classy Summer Wedding Photos at Veterans Terrace

Casey and Matt’s wedding day in Burlington, Wisconsin, was soooo classy but also so laid back and fun! Their personalities really shined through the photos, and I could tell they were genuinely having the best day of their life on their wedding day!

We started the day by getting ready at the Liar’s Club in Burlington, which has a beautiful upstairs that can be rented out and provides gorgeous natural lighting. After our beautiful bride, Casey, got dressed, we had a first look with dad and bridesmaids. The necklace she wore was a mixture of her own and her grandma’s. Casey is very close with her parents since she is an only child, so it was so special to have them both around with her during this part of the morning.

The ceremony was held at St. Charles Catholic Church, and I know that was a really special moment for Casey and Matt to see each other for the first time as she walked up the aisle. The priest’s homily was personal, sentimental, and sometimes humorous with a couple of jokes.

Portraits were held at a private residence; let me tell you, it was a stunning location not only for photos but just for the general vibe for bridal party and immediate family members to chill on the patio and relax. We were all having a really good time!!

Veterans Terrace in Burlington was a no-brainer for their cocktail hour and reception! On this specific day, there were six birthdays of guests who attended the wedding, including Casey’s 90-year-old grandpa. So a balloon was tied to each chair in the room for the corresponding birthday, and everyone sang the happy birthday song! Another fun moment during the speeches was that one of the maids of honor did a little Irish dancing! She DID tell Casey long ago that she promised to do it during her speech on the wedding day! Needless to say, it was a hit!

Casey and Matt, I am just soooo happy for both of you!!! Your wedding day was so classy and beautiful, and I know you’re going to do amazing things together in this new chapter of your life!
