Romantic & Bright Fall Wedding at The Loft and Chapel at Cedar Ridge

Damaris and Richard tied the knot on a beautiful October day at The Loft and Chapel at Cedar Ridge. I’ve known Damaris through church for over a decade and I was truly honored and flattered when she asked me to be her wedding photographer shortly after her engagement to Rich.

After meeting each other virtually though Facebook, Damaris and Rich quickly realized that they attended the same church but never saw each other before. After a while of dating, Rich popped the question on Valentine’s Day at an Italian restaurant! How romantic! They love to spend time with their dogs, go to the water park during the summer, and watching movies together!

I loved the colors they choose for the wedding – you know your girl loves a good blush-toned wedding! All of her wedding details had bright pops of bling too, which fit Damaris’s dazzling personality! 🙂

Damaris and Rich chose a traditional first look without seeing each other until the ceremony. Rich’s expression was a state of wonder and awe as he watched her walk down the aisle! Every ceremony I photograph is so special and unique to the couple. A few of the special things I saw from this ceremony was the unity candle, Las Arras Matrimoniales, and the gifting of the couple’s first bible together. Also, Rich surprised Damaris during the ceremony when he presented her with a larger wedding band for her at the ring exchange!! After they were pronounced husband and wife we took a few portraits outside followed by a fun reception! Damaris is in a salsa dance group, so you know she was going to enjoy the first dances, the dollar dance, and the open dancing with all her family and friends!

Once again, I’m so honored to have the opportunity to photograph Damaris and Richard’s beautiful wedding day at The Loft and Chapel at Cedar Ridge!
