Soulmates who met in the 6th grade

Caitlyn and Alex’s love story began in sixth grade, where a childhood connection grew into a high school romance. Though life took them in different directions for college—Caitlyn at UW-La Crosse and Alex in Michigan—they never truly lost touch. Their bond remained strong through school breaks, always feeling effortlessly right when they were together. Senior year of college, fate brought them back to each other for good. When Alex landed a job in Colorado, Caitlyn didn’t hesitate to follow, and they built a life there for nearly three years before returning to Wisconsin to be closer to family as they planned their future together.

Their summer wedding at The Fête in Wales, Wisconsin, beautifully celebrated their journey. Before the ceremony, they shared private vows without seeing each other, a quiet and emotional moment that set the tone for the day. They then exchanged vows in an indoor ceremony, surrounded by loved ones as they promised forever. The reception was a perfect blend of elegance and ease, and a packed dance floor reflected their fun-loving spirits. Every detail of the day spoke to their deep-rooted love story, one that had come full circle back to where it all began—home.
