Carissa and Jacob’s wedding was a wonderful way to kick off my 2023 wedding season! Carissa and Jacob meet while attending Marquette University, and at the time of writing this, they have been in a relationship for eight years! Carissa and Jacob currently reside in Milwaukee but knew the wedding would be hosted in Green Bay, which is Carissa’s hometown. Nativity of Our Lord Parish (the church where they got married) was the church she grew up attending and still has strong ties to, and Rock Gardens (the reception venue) was a place she often frequented for lunch with family on Sundays after mass. Even Pamperin Park (the portrait location) was a place she had many fond memories of as a child playing at the playground. So, all in all, a very sentimental way to pay homage to the places in Green Bay where Carissa had so many fond memories from.
