We’re continuing our beautiful fall engagement series with Stacy and Trevor!! This is a very special session for me because Stacy and I went to high school together! We shared a lot of classes together like choir, science, and Spanish! We always had such a good time and shared many inside jokes! Stacy and I have been keeping in touch over the years and she knew that I was a wedding photographer. So after she got engaged, she approached me and asked if I would photograph her wedding. I was so honored!!
When we arrived at Grant Park for the session, right away Stacy and I gave each other a big hug and did lots of girl squealing!! Haha! Then she introduced me to Trevor, who I think is SO perfect for Stacy!! I’m so happy for them! They’re like two peas in a pod!!
When they’re not chilling at home watching movies quarantine-style, they like to entertain their three adorable dogs; Apollo, Dakota, and Taquito. I could really tell how much they LOVE these doggies so much just based on the way Stacy and Trevor gushed about them! They shared so many fun stories about them and how each one is a little different but how they individually make their family complete. The dogs even participated in Trevor’s proposal around Christmas two years ago! Sadly the pups were not in attendance at the engagement session, but their fur-parents knew they’d be too distracting! 😉
We had a blast taking pictures at Grant Park! They specifically chose Grant Park because they are getting married here next fall! During our session, we found a few hidden gems of spots within the park, including this gorgeous stream that had so many beautiful colors. I taught them all the core poses I teach all my couples and they did an amazing job through it all!! 🙂
We ended our time on the beach during the final moments of the sunset. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful time hanging out with my friends! I can’t wait to come back next fall to photograph their wedding day at Grant Park!
