Celine and Corey contacted me a couple of months ago to photograph their October 2020 wedding. They’ve already had professional engagement photos taken, but the way my wedding package works is you receive a complimentary engagement session with the wedding package. There are so many reasons why I believe in the engagement session. Being able to spend time with my clients before their big day and guide them through posing and making them feel comfortable is critical practice for when we get to their wedding day and the client understands how to get effortless, beautiful portraits because they’ve been educated prior. Celine and Corey totally understood that so we began planning a fall engagement session at Minooka Park.
Celine and Corey initially started communicating online the last day Celine was visiting Florida while playing in a softball tournament her freshman her of college. Corey lived in Florida at the time while Celine lived in Wisconsin. They actually didn’t meet in person for 2 months but instead communicated via online messaging during this time. They could not stop texting, calling, and skyping every day! They knew they wanted to take their relationship to the next level, so Corey moved across the country to Wisconsin and the rest is history. Now they’ve been dating for over 4 years!
Corey proposed last Thanksgiving (which was also his birthday). Celine’s whole family was there to share the moment. The only ones that knew he was going to propose were her parents, so it was a surprise for everyone else! Corey covered the ring up as a birthday gift to him from Celine’s parents. Pretty clever!
Celine and Corey knew they wanted to represent their hobby of riding motorcycles in their fall engagement photos. This was a first for Chaviano Creative! I loved being able to be creative with the bike they brought and using all kinds of unique angles to feature them with it. The motorcycle is actually HERS! Celine recently treated herself to the bike since Corey has gotten her into riding motorcycles while they’ve been dating. Now they both can go riding together! Celine is still learning how to ride it, so we let Corey steal the show by showing off his skills by riding up and down the road at Minooka Park. One of my favorite photos from this collection is the last photo and it’s an idea Celine came up with on the fly. I wanted to get a few riding photos, and one time she passed me and raised her engagement hand towards the camera to show off her beautiful diamond!
I can’t believe I have to wait a whole year to document their wedding day!! Their October 2020 wedding is going to be so beautiful! I did joke with them that they should bring BOTH of their bikes to the wedding for photos. We shall see! 😉 For now, enjoy some of my favorites from this fall engagement session at Minooka Park!
