Mohammed & Trina | Lake Arrowhead Golf Course Wedding in Nekoosa, WI

It was a beautifully picturesque day on the golf course at Arrowhead Lake, and a perfect day for Mohammed and Trina’s long anticipated wedding celebration. Mohammed and Trina have a truly amazing story that spans not only years, but also thousands of miles. Trina met Mohammed while serving in the Peace Corps in Morocco. These two make an absolutely perfect couple and compliment each other so well. It was so amazing to witness these two totally different cultures come together to make such a great union that is truly a testament to their love.

Mohammed and Trina’s wedding ceremony took place at the Arrowhead Lake Golf Course in Nekoosa, WI. Trina got ready and dressed at the hotel, while Mohammad spent some quality time with Trina’s dad and two brothers. During this time they sent each cute gifts. Mohammad sent Trina a classy necklace, and Trina sent Mohammed cufflinks fashioned like soccer balls. In case you didn’t know, Mohammed was a soccer player back in Morocco! Once we arrived at the golf course, Trina did a first look with her dad and brothers. It was such a precious moment to see her dad seeing his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time. Of course there were bets being waged on if he would cry or not.

The ceremony took place on the course surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds and trees. Behind the altar was a very picturesque fountain and pond. It all added up to a very breathtaking set up. The little touches of Moroccan style through out the decorations and stationary at the ceremony were fun to find and photograph. It was so great to witness all the planning that took place to ensure that both cultures and traditions were being honored throughout the ceremony. There were readings from both the Quran and the Bible, to represent Mohammed’s and Trina’s respective cultures and merging of the two.

After the wedding ceremony we had time to take pictures and get to know Mohammed and Trina’s awesome and fun bridal party. It was such a fun and hilarious group of friends! They were a joy to work with! We never realized how hilarious Mohammed was until we started taking group pictures. He is such a relaxed and down to earth guy. He was constantly goofing off in pictures and having a good time! The joy between these two is totally evident.

The reception followed in the club at Arrowhead Lake Golf Course. We had the opportunity to take some family photos on the course in the gorgeous afternoon sun right as we arrived at the hall. The reception hall was lined with windows looking out onto the course and patio area. The natural lighting and decorative detail at the reception was so pretty and reminiscent of the great style that this couple has. We are positive that guests enjoyed the awesome S’mores Bar that was set up on the patio. We have not seen anything like that done before; it was such a great touch! As the night drew to a close everyone gathered outside for a sparkler “send off” with the bride and groom. It really made for a perfect end to a truly magnificent day.
