Jared & Amber | Country Springs Hotel Wedding in Waukesha, WI
Jared and Amber were a blast to work with! We clicked instantly when photographing their engagement photos in downtown Milwaukee almost exactly one year before their wedding day. Amber is a radiation therapist, while Jared works in PR for a well-known sports team. They met while in college at UW-La Crosse.
We had the pleasure of photographing their day from start to finish! We started the day out at Scottfree Salon with the ladies getting hair and makeup done. Amber said she was surprisingly calm that morning, but got little sleep due to nerves, so coffee was necessary! The salon had beautiful natural lighting. While getting her makeup done, Amber got to relax in a private makeup room anticipating the excitement of the day.
Jared on the other hand got ready at his hotel with his dad and groomsmen. It was the cutest thing when his dad and little brother helped him get ready in his tux!
At the church Amber got into her wedding dress. We coordinated a time before the ceremony to photograph Jared and Amber exchanging personal letters and gifts with each other. There were many happy tears and it created a very sweet photo opportunity. The Catholic ceremony was beautiful and a true testament to the love they have for each other.
Even though we’ll still remain in touch, we were kind of bummed when the night was over! It meant that our yearlong prep for this day had come to an end. We wish Jared and Amber all the best on their future together as husband and wife!
