Nick & Karlye | The Country Chapel Wedding in Appleton, WI
It could not have been a more picturesque day Nick and Karlye’s wedding at The Country Chapel in Appleton, WI and Liberty Hall in Kimberly, WI. Karlye, a traveling nurse recruiter, and Nick, a team leader at a call center, met in college at UW-Oshkosh. We really enjoyed getting to know Nick and Karyle on their wedding day and loved their laid back, fun-loving personalities.
A definite highlight of this wedding was the gorgeous ceremony venue, The Country Chapel. With its beautiful manicured gardens, lovely home, and intimate patio ceremony space, the Country Chapel added was a perfect compliment to this great couple. We loved the intimacy the space created, amidst all the flowers and greenery.
Karlye spent great time planning all of the little details and special touches that make a wedding truly memorable and unique. One of the most touching details that we have seen was the picture of Karyle’s dad attached to her bouquet, what a wonderful memorial to her father! In addition, Karlye and Nick set up a wonderful memorial display at the reception of loved ones who have passed on. We also loved the whimsical customized wine glasses, cute props for the bridal party pictures, the programs, and their spectacular cake. You’ll find all the wonderful vendor information at the bottom of this post.
Karlye and Nick had a modern take on the traditional glass clinking. During dinner, if people clinked their glasses for the newlywed couple to kiss, a couple would be randomly drawn from the guest list and asked to kiss first! It added to the fun when the bride and groom would replicate the manner of the kiss! This was a fun and engaging way to keep guests on their toes during dinner and toasts!
The love that friends and family shared for Karlye and Nick was evident throughout the day. The mothers of the Bride and Groom were so awesome to work with! Nick’s mom was such a trooper! Getting injured just a couple days before her son’s wedding could not bring her spirits down, the “mother of the groom” sling was so cute! Karlye’s mom was such a sweetheart; it was an honor to be able to capture the bond between mother and daughter.
The DJ, Advanced Entertainment, kept the dance floor alive all night long! Everyone at this wedding was having a fantastic time, and definitely had the moves on the dance floor! It was a perfect end to a perfect day.
